Because of international influences the FINA gets more modern and added new disciplines in diving.

The new rules are effective from May, 1st 2006. So the next competition will be the European Junior Championships in Spain. During the largest intern. contest for youth and juniors (Int. Printenspringen Aachen, GER) the new rules have been tested.
